  ## Slack task updates and smoother Content browsing

  Get task outcomes in Slack, browse larger Content lists, and follow agent progress with clearer results.

  ### New features

  * **Receive task outcomes in the originating Slack thread.** Tasks started from Slack now post back when they need review, finish, fail, or are cancelled, with a summary and a link to the task. [Connecting Slack](/connectors/other#slack).

  * **Follow Erstan releases from the docs.** The new Changelog tab brings dated release highlights, tag filters, and an RSS feed to help you keep up with features, improvements, and fixes.

  ### Improvements

  * **Browse and sort larger Content lists.** Search, sorting, and filters now apply across the Content listing. Load more items as you browse, with selections preserved across loaded pages. Open Knowledge to manage agent knowledge; it is no longer a filter in Content.

  * **Read file lists more easily on smaller screens.** Compact rows, shorter file-type labels, and timestamp tooltips leave more room for filenames. Image previews also explain when a file cannot be read as an image. [Previewing files](/content/files#previewing-files).

  * **Simpler Slack channel setup.** Optional channel routing settings stay collapsed until you open them, keeping the connector page focused on getting connected.

  ### Fixes

  * **Preview older edited workbooks again.** Fixed preview errors for some older workbooks whose saved file metadata no longer matched their contents. [Workbook previews](/content/files#previewing-files).

  * **Keep agent run plans up to date.** Agents now reconcile their run plan after tools finish so completed work is reflected, while unfinished or blocked work remains open.

  * **Show the correct Slack connection status.** Fixed a successful workspace connection being shown as expired after a tool check. The connector page also refreshes when the authorization window closes.

  * **Open Erstan links from Slack.** Erstan links in Slack messages now include the full address so they open the intended page.

  * **Link Sheets to project resources.** In workspaces with Sheets enabled, the project resource picker includes Sheets and linked items open with the correct name and destination.

  * **Keep sharing controls inside the dialog.** People and team results now scroll within the sharing dialog, keeping Save access visible on smaller screens. Share buttons and keyboard controls are also consistent across supported surfaces.

  * **Preserve the results of approved actions.** Completed and failed tool results remain visible as later agent activity arrives, instead of appearing to run again. [Reviewing actions](/chat/approvals#the-approval-card).

  This week's highlights give you another way to create in chat and more control over your agents.

  ### New features

  * **Generate images in chat.** Ask Erstan to create an image with an OpenAI model and preview or download the result as an attachment. Image Generation is managed in your workspace's OpenAI connector settings; availability depends on your selected model's tool policy and OpenAI account access.   ### Improvements

  * **Pause a schedule from the builder.** Pause or resume an individual schedule directly on its trigger node, keeping its settings ready for later. This makes it easier to manage agents with several schedules. [Managing schedules](/agents/schedules#manage-an-existing-schedule).

  ### Fixes

  * **Attached Skills load their guidance when needed.** Fixed agents being unable to load attached Skill instructions when ordinary tools were disabled.
