> A table and an add-row form over one Sheet you choose or create — the simplest Sheet-backed App, ready to copy and extend.

The Sheets app: one table and one add-row form over a single Sheet. Pick an existing Sheet at install or let the blueprint create an Items sheet with a few generic columns; the page reads the first worksheet, discovers its columns from the header row, lets you search and sort, and appends rows through a versioned Sheet write. It is the smallest Sheet-backed App there is, and the starting point for anything that is a list people maintain.

**Business area:** Build on NetSuite · **Type:** App

**Built for:** Anyone maintaining a list, App builder starting from a template

## Data and resources

* **The Sheet behind the table** (Sheet): Any Sheet: the page reads its first worksheet and takes the columns from row 1. The default creates an Items sheet with Name, Category, Quantity, Status, Notes and Added.
* **View preferences** (App state): Search text and sort column, per viewer.

## Install and use

Open **Library → Apps** in Erstan and select **Sheet List**. Review its requirements, choose a destination and the requested resources, then complete the installation review. See [Adding Apps](/marketplace/add-apps).

Open the installed App from **Artifacts**. Review its data and setup status before sharing it. Later edits remain a draft until you publish them. See [Create and edit an App](/apps/create-edit).

## Access and actions

The App uses the viewer's access to its connected systems and resources. App sharing does not share credentials or grant access to a Sheet, Database, or Data Source. Actions follow the configured permissions and approval policy. See [Connect App data](/apps/data).
