Publishing makes a reviewed App version available to its users. Sharing controls who can use or edit it. These are separate choices.

Publish a draft

Open Edit App, confirm the draft has saved, review its preview and Data configuration, then choose Publish. Resolve any validation issues before trying again. The published App stays on its existing version while you make further draft edits. Unpublished changes tells editors that there is work to release. Users with Can use access continue using the published version. Editors can inspect earlier versions from App actions → Revisions and use Restore revision to make a reviewed earlier revision active. Publishing or restoring App code does not undo changes previously made to connected business data.

Share inside your workspace

Choose Share on the App or its Artifact card and select the intended people or teams.
App access does not grant access to its author’s credentials, connected data, producing Agent, or conversations. Share the required resources separately and have each user authorize their own connections.
Use Copy link after setting access. Open fullscreen gives signed-in users a larger view of a published App; fullscreen does not change its permissions.

Share a public snapshot

Apps require Erstan login by default. Settings → Require Erstan login can be turned off only for an eligible, self-contained published App. Public sharing is for content that can be included entirely in the published client bundle. An App with Data Sources, server code or methods, or native data pages must keep login required. To share a report publicly, create a separate self-contained snapshot containing only the intended public content.
Anyone with the public link can view the snapshot without signing in. Review all included content before sharing it. Revoking the link cannot recall copies already downloaded.
The public link points to a specific published revision. Publishing a later revision does not update that public snapshot automatically. Use Settings to explicitly share the latest eligible published version when ready. Turning Require Erstan login back on, or archiving the App, revokes the public link. Enabling public sharing again creates a new link. The public viewer has no editor, App chat, private-data connection, or action access.

Archive an App

Choose App actions → Archive to remove an App from active use. Authorized users can restore an archived App. Archiving also revokes public access; restoring the App does not make the old public link valid again.
