The Documents list
Open a team and go to Content → Documents to see every document in that team. Each team keeps its own documents; switch teams to see another team’s content.- Create — New document opens an Untitled document in the editor. A new document inherits whichever folder you’re currently in.
- Organize with folders — New folder to create one, then drag documents onto it or use a document’s Move to folder action. Click a folder to open it; breadcrumbs track where you are. Documents and Files share the same folder tree per team, filtered by kind.
- Find — the search box filters by title. Filter by status (All statuses / Draft / Published / Archived) and sort by Updated (newest), Title (A-Z), or Created (newest).
- Switch layout — toggle List view and Grid view.
- Row actions — open a document’s ⋯ menu to Rename, Move to folder, Change status, Duplicate, Pin, or Delete. Select multiple documents with the checkboxes to Change status or Delete in bulk.
Folders can’t be deleted while they still contain documents, files, or sub-folders — empty a folder first.
Document status
Every document has a lifecycle status that controls whether it’s editable.
You can change status from a document’s ⋯ menu or in bulk from the list. See Publishing, exporting & collaborating for the full publish flow.
The editor

Headings 1–6, paragraph text, Bulleted list, Numbered list, Task list, Quote, Code block, and Divider.
Blocks & Data
Blocks & Data
Table, Chart, Callout, and Image. Charts and metric cards bind to query results so a SuiteQL report can become a visual. Callouts come in Info, Warning, Error, Success, and Tip styles.
Insert & Layout
Insert & Layout
Insert an Image or File, and arrange content with 2 Columns, 3 Columns, or Sidebar Left / Sidebar Right layouts.
Page width
Set how wide the page reads from the document options. Choose Reading (752px) for prose, Wide (1100px) for tables and charts, or Full width to use the whole canvas.Editing with the AI assistant
Every Documents surface has a built-in AI chat sidebar so you can ask an agent to draft, summarize, or restructure a document for you. Open the chat panel (or the floating chat button on the list) and describe what you want — for example, “Draft an AR aging summary from this quarter’s overdue invoices” or “Tidy these notes into a close checklist.” A pulsing indicator shows when the agent is working, and chat threads are remembered per document and per list.A document created by an agent shows a Created by agent badge in its header. Locked Snapshot report documents (for example, an automation-generated report) can’t be edited directly — Duplicate one to make changes.
