An installed Agent is your independent copy. A library update applies to that Agent only. It does not update other installations or change who owns or can access them.

Read the version panel

The listing shows the latest library version and the version recorded for the Agent opened by Open in Agents. Older installations can show Not recorded when their original library version was not saved. Agent draft revisions and published revisions are separate from library release numbers. If no installed Agent is accessible to you, the page offers Add Agent. Owners and editors can apply an update; viewers can see its version status but cannot overwrite it.

Review and save

  1. Select Review update.
  2. Expand the changed settings and compare the current content with the library defaults.
  3. Confirm Replace the listed settings in a new draft.
  4. Select Save updated draft.
The reviewed library settings overwrite local changes to those settings. They can include instructions, pinned tools, Skills, run limits, and completion requirements. Required connections and new library Knowledge references are added without removing your existing selections. An explicit Knowledge off setting remains off. Ownership, sharing, name, model, existing Knowledge sources, and chat triggers are retained. The update saves a new draft. Review and run it, then publish when you want it to replace the live version. Other users and enabled triggers continue to use the published version until then. Custom workflow graphs and automations can require a manual update in the builder; the review explains when automatic replacement is unavailable. Concurrent edits or a changed library release require a fresh review.
